Dr Denis Paulus, orthodontics specialist

Dr Denis PAULUS received his doctorate in dental surgery from the Faculté René Descartes in 1984.

He worked as a general dental surgeon at the Ecole Polytechnique from 1985 to 1986 before deciding to specialise in orthodontics. After completing a postgraduate qualification, he specialised exclusively in this field.

That same year, he began working as an orthodontist at the Institut de Prophylaxie Dentaire Infantile (Institute for Paediatric Dental Prophylaxis in Paris), continuing up to 2000.

Around the same time, in 1990, he set up his own private practice in west Paris, treating both children and adults.

His intensive practice of adult orthodontics led him to use lingual techniques learned from Doctors Gorman and Smith, and, later, from Doctor Dirk Wiechmann as the INCOGNITO technique was being developed.

He was thus able to take a multidisciplinary approach, thanks also to his considerable experience of the protocols involved in maxillo-facial surgery.
